Lets get it right. This post in no way is meant to be political. It is however meant to correct a serious misunderstanding, misconception, or simply you may have been absent that day in school. For at least a couple of centuries there have been Democrats and Republicans( parties). Yesterday's Republicans and are today's Democrats and vice versa. For a very long time the Democratic Party represented the South but after the switcheroo, the South became the party of the Republicans.
